During the Spring 2010 Semester at California State University, Fullerton, Mitch Seigel offered a 2 hour Networking Conference to all students on campus. He volunteered his time and energy to the event so this was considered a donation to the hosting business clubs which were: (SAM) Society for Advancement of Management, (GIS) Gamma Iota Sigma, and (REA) Real Estate Association.

First off, his knowledge on the subject of networking is phenomenal. Mitch went into detail about every aspect of networking from social media to one-on-one socials. Also, the material he discussed was presented in such a fashion that even the students, who are at the beginning of their networking careers, were able to comprehend what would normally be a complex subject.

Mitch had shown 100% professionalism in both his character and his presentation. His ability to work well with his partner in delivering significant details on one of the most talked about subjects in business had every student awake and alert. He also showed creativity and originality with some of the activities he conducted which kept the conference very interactive.

As far as I’m concerned, he will always be welcome at our campus and if he would like to do another one of these conferences again, the business clubs would certainly enjoy hosting it again.

Thank you Mitch.

The NAWBO-OC Education Committee was pleased when Mitch Seigel agreed to present at our monthly Education Workshop and we certainly were not disappointed. Mitch presented with flair and an obvious wealth of knowledge regarding the similarities and differences between Sales and Marketing. He provided participants with tools they could take away and use immediately in their own businesses. We look forward to future opportunities to hear Mitch’s presentations.

On behalf of our Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Members and Staff, thank you so much for speaking at our February Chamber breakfast and for presenting your exceptional “Networking for Survival Workshop and Seminar” at our Chamber yesterday. I have become increasingly concerned about the lack of personal social interaction in our society with the fast and furious advent of electronic communication, which is not only affecting the business sector, but the future development of today’s youth. Your seminar really has given me hope!

You have created an extremely thorough step by step approach to successful networking, including the importance of proper etiquette. I’ve been involved with Chambers of Commerce since the mid 1970s first as a Chamber member and I am such a believer in how a Chamber can increase a member’s business, that I’ve spent the past 17 years as the top paid staff in two chambers of commerce. I have never participated in such a comprehensive networking program as the one that you have designed and presented. It’s fresh, current, concise, timely and relevant to not only business people, but to career seekers and students as well.

I would be honored to recommend you and your program to educational institutions, banks, corporations and associations. Please feel free to share my contact information. Thank you again, for an outstanding event, and let me know how we may partner with you in future programs.
